Wintertime Love: Ice Skating

27 November 2013 | 3 Comments

If you haven’t noticed, I’m not an athletic person. There are many many other things I’d like to do with my time than play sports or work out. But I do love ice skating.  This past weekend, I took Clara (age 2.5) out for her first time on skates. We went to the gorgeous new outdoor rink and skating path at Greenwood Park (a short walk from our house).  I had to hold Clara up, and we only skated for about 10 minutes, but it was really fun.  She was pretty scared at first, but once she realized I wasn’t going to let her fall, she started to enjoy it.  I’m really looking forward to going a bunch of times this winter.
