What Do You Get the 1-Year Old That Has Everything?
Clara is coming up on her first birthday (crazy, I know!) and friends and family have been asking what to get for her. Thing is – I have no idea. She has all the important stuff (her room’s all set up, she has her stroller and a wagon, big girl car seat, etc). Of course, she loves new toys, but I can’t think of specific ones to ask for.
So, parents, aunties, uncles, grandparents, friends of parents… what do you get the 1-year old that has everything? Suggestions, please!
Ruthie just had her first birthday and, yeah, there’s not a lot of things that are really in need right now. A couple of suggestions for things that were great gifts:
Playskool Busy Ball Popper.
I’m not usually a “batteries-needed toy” advoate, but this has already been literally hours of fun. Ruthie was afraid of it at first, but now loves to push the button, spin around to the music and retrieve the popped balls.

Also, we’ve received two great picnic blankets for gifts, invaluable for park/beach visits when it gets a bit warmer.
One year already!! wow 🙂
Sweet! Thanks for the tip JL.
Money for the RESP. Classic books for when she’s older (nice editions).
Excellent idea. I wonder if printed books will be a novelty by the time Clara’s older… she might read everything digitally!
