How Do You Measure Your Child’s Growth?

5 June 2013 | 0 Comments

Clara, who is now 2 years and 3 months old, has been growing like a weed.  She’s so tall!  Kind of makes sense – I’m 5 foot, 10 inches myself. I want to put a growth chart on the wall to start measuring her progress, but most growth charts are soooooo ugly or way too cutesy for my taste.

I noticed a friend shared this cool ruler print / growth chart on Facebook yesterday.  It’s lovely, but expensive. I like the Baum-Kuchen folding ruler stick that was shared on Hither and Thither, but their store is temporarily closed.  There’s this measuring tape style one at Pottery Barn Kids (pictured above), but it’s not much cheaper than the other one. Sigh.

How do you mark your child’s growth? Do you use a growth chart, or do you just use a marker on the wall?
